3 Year LL.B Course (Semester)

Eligibility for Admission

Candidates who have passed a three year Degree Examination of Universities in Tamil Nadu and such degree awarded by Member Universities of Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi for purpose of mutual recognition on reciprocal basis, after 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern and also recognized by Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University alone are eligible for admission to B.L. (3 years) Degree Course.

1. No Candidate shall be admitted to the first examination in law unless he/she forwards before the date of the commencement of the examination satisfactory evidence of having qualified for the examination satisfactory evidence of having qualified for the degree of some other Universities accepted by the Syndicate of Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University and of having, undergone a course of study in the subjects prescribed for the examination in an affiliated Law College for a period of one academic year and earned sufficient attendance as per University regulations.

2. No candidate shall be admitted to the second year examination unless he/she forwards before the date of the commencement of the examination, satisfactory evidence of having undergone the course of study in the subjects prescribed for the second year course of Law for one year in an affiliated Law College and earned sufficient attendance as per University regulations.

3. No candidate shall be admitted to the B.L. Degree Examination unless he/she forwards before the date of the commencement of the examination satisfactory evidence of having undergone the course of study in the subjects prescribed for the third year course of Law for one year in an affiliated Law College and earned sufficient attendance as per University regulations.

Interviewing Techniques and Pre- Trial Preparations and Internship Diary (Student shall Observe two interviewing sessions of clients at Lawyer’s Office / Legal Aid Office and record Proceedings in a diary, which will carry 15 marks. Further, students shall observe the preparation of documents and court papers by the Advocate and the procedure for the filling of the suit / petition and record the same in the diary, which will carry 15 marks.) 30 Marks
